Job Description

The Travel Behavioral Health RN is responsible for managing clinical and other activities in assigned units, specifically within adolescent and geriatric behavioral health. The role involves maintaining the implementation of the Department of Nursing's philosophy, goals, and standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise employees in the delivery of care within a 44-bed inpatient psych facility.
• Formulate and monitor capital, personnel, and operating budgets.
• Direct staffing and scheduling of personnel.
• Plan and coordinate orientation and educational needs of the staff.
• Maintain good working relationships with other disciplines.
• Promote positive public relations as a representative of the Nursing Department.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• BLS certification required.
• Inpatient adolescent psych experience required.
• De-escalation training/certification required; SAFE Training Course can be attended onsite if needed.
