Radiation Therapist - Radiation Oncology

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our Radiation Oncology team. The ideal candidate will have proven work experience in the delivery of radiation treatment, a strong understanding of radiation safety measures, and the ability to work collaboratively with the oncology team to deliver exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

• Administer radiation treatments as prescribed by the oncologist.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the treatment process.
• Collaborate with the oncology team to develop individualized care plans.
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation.
• Use advanced equipment, including Elekta Infinity LINAC and GE CT.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Associates degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiation Therapy.
• 3-5 years of experience in radiation therapy.
• Current BLS certification.
