Registered Nurse (Med Surge) - Post Acute Care

This position requires the ability to work three 12-hour shifts per week from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM, including every other weekend and holidays as needed.

Job Description

We are currently seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical-Surgical care for a 60-bed post-acute inpatient care hospital. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients in a fast-paced environment, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient progress and respond to changes in condition.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care.
• Educate patients and families on health management and recovery strategies.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Relevant experience in a Med Surge or similar inpatient setting is preferred.
• BLS certification.
