Radiation Therapy Technologist

Full-time schedule, Monday to Friday, from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM.

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Radiation Therapy Technologist to deliver effective cancer treatment in a fast-paced environment while working independently. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in radiation therapy, demonstrate excellent communication skills, and show dependability in their work.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiation therapy procedures using Ethos or Varian machines.
• Calculate and administer the correct dose of radiation.
• Utilize advanced imaging techniques and equipment, including CBCT and portal imaging.
• Maintain patient safety and radiation safety standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care.
• Support the department's operational needs and float to other locations as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• New York State Radiologic Technologists Therapy License.
• ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy (ARRT T).
• BLS certification.
• Minimum one year of experience in radiation therapy.
• Familiarity with Electronic Health Record systems, specifically EPIC.
