This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Monday - Thursday: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM or 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM, and Fridays: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM.

Job Description

The Outpatient Physical Therapist evaluates all assigned patients and develops, implements, and modifies treatment plans according to the patients' needs, goals, and physician direction. This role encompasses the delegation and direction of therapy services for assigned patients, ensuring the design of functional treatment programs that facilitate effective returns to community activities. The therapist also serves as an educator for patients, families, students, and coworkers, while adhering to professional standards and compliance expectations.

Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and develop personalized treatment plans.
• Document all patient care activities accurately and timely, in compliance with all relevant guidelines.
• Participate in student programs, providing supervision and support for their learning objectives.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through education and self-study.
• Adhere to state practice regulations and maintain licensure in good standing.
• Contribute to performance improvement initiatives to enhance service quality.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 1 year of outpatient clinical experience.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Active physical therapist license for the state in which you will be working.
