Job Description

The Outpatient Physical Therapist will evaluate all assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify treatment plans based on patient needs, goals, and physician direction. This role includes delegating and directing therapy services for assigned patients, ensuring the design of functional treatment programs that facilitate the patient's return to community activities. The therapist will also serve as an educator for patients, families, students, and coworkers while performing various professional duties related to patient care and therapy service development.

Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients.
• Utilize clinical reasoning to create appropriate treatment plans and goals.
• Document patient care in a clear, concise, and timely manner.
• Participate in the student program, providing supervision and evaluations.
• Develop and manage individualized professional development plans.
• Adhere to discipline-specific state practice acts and maintain licensure.
• Engage in performance improvement initiatives.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
• 1+ year of outpatient clinical experience.
• Current CPR certification.
• Active/state licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist.
