Physical Therapist - Acute Care

Schedule

5 days per week for 8 hour days preferred, but available for four 10 hour days if needed.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist with acute care experience to deliver high-quality therapy services. The candidate will participate in evaluating patients, creating treatment plans, and implementing appropriate therapy interventions to assist patients in their rehabilitation journey.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical abilities and needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans according to patient goals and clinical guidelines.
• Utilize appropriate therapeutic techniques and modalities to achieve patient outcomes.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Educate patients and their families on care plans and ongoing rehabilitation process.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 2 years of experience in acute care settings.
• Licensed Physical Therapist in Pennsylvania or Compact PT Licensure.
• Experience with EPIC electronic health records is required.
• COVID-19 vaccine is required; medical/religious exemptions allowed.
• Flu vaccine is also required; medical/religious exemptions only.
