Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day.
Job Description
The Outpatient Physical Therapist will evaluate all assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify treatment plans according to the patient's needs, goals, and physician direction. Responsibilities include the delegation and direction of all discipline-specific therapy services, ensuring the design of functional treatment programs for effective community reintegration. The therapist will also serve as an educator for patients, families, students, coworkers, and self, and uphold the organization’s mission and core values.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients.
- Utilize clinical reasoning to create appropriate treatment plans and goals to facilitate patient discharge.
- Document patient care clearly, concisely, and accurately, ensuring compliance with all guidelines.
- Participate in the supervision and education of students as needed.
- Engage in professional development through continuing education and self-study.
- Adhere to the discipline-specific State Practice Act and maintain professional licensure.
- Understand and participate in organizational performance improvement initiatives.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
- 1+ year of outpatient clinical experience preferred.
- Current CPR certification.
- Active licensure for the state where the work will be performed.
