L&D Registered Nurse (RN) 

Schedule

This position is for a PM shift from 19:00 to 07:00, with three 12-hour shifts per week, totaling 36 hours. The nurse will rotate occasionally to a day shift from 07:00 to 19:00, work every third weekend, and every other holiday. Call hours will vary but are generally around 24 hours every six weeks; nurses must be within 15 minutes of the hospital when on call.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Obstetrics (OB) unit. In addition to OB duties, the RN will occasionally care for female med-surg overflow patients. The successful candidate must have a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care and demonstrate excellent nursing skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to obstetric patients.
• Manage care for female med-surg overflow patients as needed.
• Participate in call rotations and ensure immediate availability.
• Collaborate effectively with healthcare team members to enhance patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, particularly in obstetrics.
• Active NRP certification required.
• Act 73 results required for all staff; fingerprinting process highly recommended to begin upon acceptance of the offer.
