Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg Oncology Acute Care

12-hour Day shifts from 7am to 7pm, with varying schedules.

Job Description

The Acute Care Inpatient Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) will provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a Med Surg setting, focusing on the management of symptoms and treatment side effects related to cancer care.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and perform treatment procedures as prescribed.
• Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes in health status.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families regarding health conditions and treatment plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in an acute care Med Surg Oncology setting.
• Current AHA BLS certification.
• Current NIHSS certification.
• Current ACLS certification.
