Day Shift: 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (M/S RN) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced medical surgical environment. This position requires competency in managing a diverse patient population, including general medical surgical cases and overflow oncology patients.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patient conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Provide patient education and support.
• Document care accurately in the Electronic Health Record (EPIC).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical Surgical nursing.
• Active RN license with Nursys License Verification.
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Additional certifications relevant to the specialty are preferred.
