Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN)

Schedule

This position requires a night shift schedule with 12-hour shifts, working 3 nights per week.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN) for a large facility. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in both adult and pediatric care, with a strong preference for those with level 1 trauma experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the emergency department.
• Assess patients and administer appropriate treatments and medications.
• Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Participate in patient education and discharge planning.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 4 years of well-rounded adult and pediatric nursing experience.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required.
• TNCC and ENPC certifications are preferred.
• Must have valid RN licensure.
