Night shift, 12-hour shifts, rotating schedule.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN) for our float pool. The ED is a very busy environment where you will primarily care for boarder patients which may include medical/surgical, step-down, and ICU cases. You may also be asked to float to an acute unit as necessary. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in high-volume emergency care.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting.
• Monitor and assess patients’ conditions and responses to treatment.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Assist with critical procedures and interventions as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar sized Level 1 trauma facility.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications are required.
• Valid RN license.

Assignment Duration

This is a contract position with guaranteed hours of 36 weekly, for a total of 54 weeks.
