Job Description

The Radiology Technologist is responsible for providing optimal patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation across all age groups including neonatal, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. The technologist will operate imaging equipment, verify and execute physician orders for diagnostic and therapeutic exams, and ensure patient safety and well-being during procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic radiographic procedures.
• Consult with radiologists to determine contrast media and ensure image quality.
• Manage patient flow and maintain accurate medical documentation.
• Participate in quality improvement studies and patient history acquisition.
• Assist with stocking supplies and maintaining departmental organization.

Required Experience, Certifications & Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience required.
• American Registry of Radiological Technologists ARRT(R) certification required upon hire.
• State of Nevada license for Medical Radiography required.
• Current AHA BLS certification required.
