Job Description

The Radiology Technologist will produce optimal diagnostic images while providing excellent patient care. This role is accountable for individualized patient care in the Radiology Department, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients during procedures.

Responsibilities

• Produce diagnostic and fluoroscopic radiographic procedures utilizing radiographic principles.
• Ensure patient safety and quality care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Consult with Radiologists regarding contrast media and make necessary adjustments to improve image quality.
• Perform various duties including patient history acquisition, informed consent documentation, and medical charting.
• Maintain compliance with departmental policies and procedures.
• Assist other modalities within the department as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Requires American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification upon hire.
• State of Nevada license for Medical Radiography.
• AHA BLS certification required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Radiology; Fluoro experience is necessary.
