Registered Nurse - CVICU

19:00 - 07:00, every other weekend or as needed.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Cardiac Vascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU). The ideal candidate will exhibit strong critical thinking abilities while caring for adult and geriatric patients recovering from complex cardiovascular procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the CVICU.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and health status, responding promptly to changes.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Utilize advanced equipment, including Impella and IABP, to support patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1.5 years of RN experience in CVICU.
• Active RN license.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications; CCRN preferred.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
