Job Description

The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) will provide treatment, care, and evaluation for patients with respiratory insufficiencies, asthma, pneumonia, and emphysema in a fast-paced environment. The therapist will work closely with a dedicated team, engaging in collaboration with physicians to ensure optimal patient care.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory treatments and perform evaluations on patients.
• Utilize medical equipment including oxygen cylinders, nebulizers, suction machines, CPAP, and BIPAP machines.
• Manage patient ratios effectively for quality care.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation within the EMR (Meditech).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must be a registered RRT.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are essential.
• 2 years of current acute care hospital RRT experience is required.
• Preferred: ICU experience and Meditech experience.
