Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Schedule

This position is scheduled for 7 AM to 7 PM, requiring a commitment of 36 hours per week.

Assignment Duration

This is a 4-week contract position.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Labor and Delivery unit. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to patients during labor and childbirth, ensuring the safety and well-being of both mothers and newborns.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patients during labor and delivery.
• Provide direct nursing care to patients in accordance with established protocols.
• Assist in the delivery of babies, ensuring that all safety measures are followed.
• Educate and support families regarding newborn care and mother health.
• Collaborate with medical staff and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Current certifications in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Experience in Labor and Delivery nursing is preferred.
