Schedule

Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM; no weekend shifts required.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a large acute care facility and be a team player who provides exceptional care to our patients. This role involves patient evaluation, establishing plans of care and treatment programs, providing interventions, patient and family education, documentation of interventions, and appropriate billing.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient evaluations and establish effective plans of care.
• Provide appropriate treatment interventions in line with established protocols.
• Educate patients and their families regarding care plans and progression.
• Document all interventions and maintain accurate billing procedures.
• Support Lead Clinicians in competency development and implementation.
• Participate in the orientation of new staff members and serve as a clinical instructor for students.
• Exercise independent judgment on moderately complex cases with minimal supervision.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid New Jersey License to practice Physical Therapy.
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy academic program.
• 0-4 years of experience as a Physical Therapist is strongly preferred.
• Experience in an acute care setting and preference given to candidates who have completed a clinical affiliation with Atlantic Health.
• Board Certification as a Specialist in an area suitable for care in an acute care setting is preferred.
