Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift: 4x10-Hour (07:30 - 18:00) with block scheduling Monday to Friday. Weekends are not required.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medical Technician with experience in adult outpatient clinics and nuclear cardiology. The technician will perform imaging procedures including gastric emptying, bone scans, liver imaging, perfusion, ventilation, captopril, myocardial scans, and SPECT imaging. The ideal candidate will be proficient in handling equipment from GE and skilled in using EPIC for charting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct various nuclear imaging procedures with precision.
• Perform quality control and maintenance on imaging equipment.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care.
• Document patient information and imaging results accurately in EPIC.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and standards in the imaging department.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Nuclear Medical Technician.
• Active New Jersey or Compact state license required.
• Certification from NMTCB and ARRT (CT) or equivalent is mandatory.
• BLS certification is required.
