PM Shift: Sunday 11am-12am, Tuesday 10am-11pm, Wednesday 9am-10pm. Call included.

Job Description

The CT technologist will demonstrate professionalism and service excellence while performing imaging procedures. Key responsibilities include preparing requisitions, communicating with patients and their families, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining sterile environments.

Responsibilities

• Obtain necessary medical supplies for procedures according to established protocols.
• Maintain sterility of field and instruments.
• Communicate effectively with patients to alleviate anxiety while respecting privacy.
• Verify patient identification as per AHS policy.
• Monitor patient conditions and report any changes.
• Ensure availability of medical records and previous reports.
• Participate in patient transport and emergency response protocols.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the work area.
• Notify supervisors of equipment malfunctions and participate in quality assurance activities.
• Adhere to protocols for obtaining immediate imaging results during emergencies.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Completion of a Radiographer Technical training program from a recognized institution.
• ARRT RT (R) and ARRT RT (CT) certifications.
• New Jersey State X-Ray License.
• BLS Certification.
