Job Description

The RN provides age-specific, direct patient care utilizing the Nursing Process and adhering to the standards set forth by the Department of Nursing and relevant specialty standards. The RN assumes leadership responsibilities, which include delegating tasks to other staff members while ensuring compliance with all applicable state and federal laws, regulations, and healthcare policies.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care tailored to age-specific needs.
• Utilize the Nursing Process in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care.
• Provide leadership by delegating work effectively to other healthcare staff.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory laws and standards in healthcare provision.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license.
• Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and PALS (or ENPC) required prior to contract start date.
• Must have booked a course for any certifications not yet active at time of Clinical Orientation.
