Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Schedule

10-hour rotating shifts (Day/Evening) with weekend and call expectations. Flexibility with the schedule is a must.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will work primarily in the Operating Room, providing care to patients undergoing various surgical procedures. This position requires expertise in multiple surgical specialties, ensuring high-quality patient outcomes while maintaining a sterile environment.

Responsibilities

• Circulate and scrub for a variety of surgical cases including orthopedics, urology, oncology, general surgery, ENT, dental, plastics, neuro, cardiovascular, and trauma.
• Work closely with surgical teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Adhere to safety and quality standards in the operating room.
• Utilize EPIC and other computerized medical records efficiently.
• Document patient care accurately and timely.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a large trauma level 1 facility.
• Prior travel nursing experience is required.
• EPIC experience within the last 2 years is non-negotiable.
• Must have skills checklists indicating proficiency in both circulating and scrubbing roles.
• Current BLS certification.
