Rotating shifts: 3x12-hour days (07:00 - 19:30) and 3x12-hour nights (19:00 - 07:30).

Job Description

The Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse will provide comprehensive nursing care in a dynamic hospital setting. The nurse will be responsible for monitoring patients, administering medications, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. There is a potential to float to different units, including ED, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in a telemetry setting.
• Monitor and interpret ECG rhythms.
• Administer medications and IV therapies.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and their families on health management.
• Participate in clinical decision-making and promote evidence-based practices.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience.
• Permanent Ohio RN license or a compact state license required.
• Active certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.
• Must be willing to work every other holiday.
