Full Time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Night Shift

Schedule

Full Time Nights - 5 x 7.5 hours per day (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM) with every other weekend and holiday required.

Job Description

As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will assist residents with their daily living needs, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment while promoting their independence and well-being.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living needs, including hygiene, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Maintain resident safety and the cleanliness of the environment.
• Support residents during meal times, including tray delivery and feeding assistance.
• Assist with mobility and rehabilitation needs, including transfers and range of motion.
• Take and record vital signs and resident measurements.
• Assist with the admission, transfer, and discharge processes for residents.
• Provide companionship and support for residents' social and emotional needs.
• Report any changes in residents' conditions to nursing staff.
• Complete documentation as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a licensed CNA in a long-term care setting.
• NYS Nursing Assistant Certification is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from American Heart Association or RQI is required.
