MRI Technologist

Schedule

This is a night shift position, Monday through Friday, from 4:30 PM to 12:00 AM.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Job Description

The MRI Technologist will be responsible for performing MRI scans and ensuring the safety and comfort of patients throughout the imaging process. The Technologist will work closely with an MRI assistant and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality imaging services.

Responsibilities

• Conduct MRI exams accurately and efficiently.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Administer contrast media as necessary.
• Maintain MRI equipment and adhere to safety protocols.
• Document patient information and imaging records properly.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• ARRT MR certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Minimum of 1 year of experience with EPIC electronic medical record system
• At least 2 years of experience in MRI or relevant imaging field
