MRI Technologist Position

Schedule

This is a 13-week contract position with a Monday to Friday schedule from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.

Job Description

The MRI Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures. The technologist will work in an outpatient setting and is required to be available for a call rotation, which includes one night per week and approximately every fourth weekend.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI scans on patients of all age groups while ensuring high-quality imaging.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Administrate contrast media when necessary for specific MRI protocols.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team and float to other units as required.
• Ensure all imaging equipment is operating correctly and perform routine maintenance.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the MRI field.
• ARRT certification in Magnetic Resonance and BLS certification are required.
• At least one year of experience with the EPIC charting system.
• Previous charge experience is preferred.
