Schedule

Rotating shifts: Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30) and Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30). Shifts may be variable based on operational needs.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Med/Surg Tele RN for a dynamic role at our main campus hospital. This position has the potential to float to units J1-2, J33, and the ED to care for the same patient population.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced medical-surgical telemetry environment.
• Monitor and manage patient telemetry, administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Participate in patient education and discharge planning.
• Document patient care accurately and timely in the electronic medical record.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience.
• Must hold a permanent Ohio RN license or a compact state license.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.
• Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in the specialty prior to taking travel assignments.
