EEG Technician

Schedule

Shifts are in the AM, from 07:00 to 17:00, working 4 × 10 hour shifts totaling 40 hours per week.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Job Description

The EEG Technician performs standard diagnostic tests and special studies, utilizing EEG equipment. Responsibilities include identifying artifacts, describing abnormal clinical manifestations, assisting in patient evaluations, collecting data for quality assurance, monitoring quality assurance indicators, and ensuring equipment maintenance.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Required.
• Trade School Graduate of an accredited school of EEG Technology Required.
• 1 year of experience as an EEG Technician Required.
• ABRET Registered EEG Tech Required.
