Job Description

The Registered Respiratory Therapist will provide care, treatment, and evaluation for patients with respiratory diseases in the NICU/PICU setting, utilizing advanced technologies and medication delivery systems.

Responsibilities

• Administer treatments using high flow devices, continuous nebulizers, and other respiratory equipment.
• Evaluate patients’ respiratory function and adjust therapies as needed.
• Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to provide optimal patient care.
• Utilize documentation systems effectively, including Meditech.
• Provide coverage for adult floors as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications are mandatory.
• Minimum of 2 years of current acute care hospital experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
• Preferred: Experience in Meditech documentation.
• Advanced skills needed: Current NICU/PICU experience.
