Job Description

The Respiratory Therapist in the NICU/PICU will provide treatment, care, and evaluation for patients with respiratory diseases using advanced technologies and medication delivery systems. The ideal candidate will work within a multidisciplinary approach to patient care and act as a collaborative team member in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments utilizing advanced equipment.
• Evaluate patient conditions and response to therapy.
• Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and collaborate on patient care plans.
• Provide coverage for regular adult floors for nebulizer therapy and BiPAP as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications.
• Minimum of 2 years of current acute care hospital experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• Preferred: Previous Meditech experience and NICU/PICU experience.
• Advanced skills in respiratory care techniques and procedures.
