Schedule

Rotating shifts: 3x12-hour shifts (7pm - 7:30am and 7am - 7:30pm). Must be available to float between various units as operationally needed.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Stepdown Unit Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced hospital environment. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 18 months of experience in stepdown or progressive care nursing. Responsibilities include managing patients' care, performing assessments, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Stepdown unit.
• Perform patient assessments and document care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and assess patients' conditions, including vital signs and ECGs.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Maintain accurate patient records and comply with healthcare policies and procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 18 months of recent Stepdown or Progressive Care Unit experience.
• Active Ohio RN license or valid compact state license.
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• Must be able to work every other holiday.
