Job Description

Under the general direction of a physician and by prescription, the Registered Respiratory Therapist provides respiratory therapy services and life support to patients with deficiencies and abnormalities of the cardiopulmonary system. Responsibilities are performed across all patient populations and service areas.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy according to physician's prescription.
• Monitor and assess patients' respiratory status and therapeutic interventions.
• Utilize life support systems as needed to maintain patient safety.
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• Relevant clinical experience in respiratory therapy preferred.
