Job Description

The Registered Nurse in the CVICU will provide high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients with critical illnesses. Ideal candidates should have experience in a CVICU setting, but this is not required. Strong clinical skills and the ability to work in a team environment are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatments.
• Administer medications and IV therapies as prescribed.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to deliver optimal patient care.
• Participate in patient and family education regarding treatment plans and recovery.
• Assist with procedures and provide post-operative care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an ICU setting preferred.
