Night shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM with rotating weekends and holidays.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with charge experience to join our Women’s Services team. The ideal candidate will have robust labor and delivery expertise, capable of managing the labor process, delivering care to mothers and newborns, and handling obstetric emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients during labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery.
• Monitor fetal heart rates, administer medical interventions, and handle deliveries, including C-sections and vacuum/forceps assistance.
• Conduct daily safety rounding on all patients to ensure the highest level of care and safety.
• Collaborate with neonatologists and other healthcare professionals to assess newborns and ensure their transition to stability.
• Supervise nursing staff and provide guidance and support in patient care scenarios.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must possess Labor and Delivery experience and current RN license.
• Certifications required: BLS, NRP, and Fetal Monitoring training.
• Advanced skills in fetal monitoring, inductions, and managing obstetric emergencies including shoulder dystocia and postpartum hemorrhage preferred.
