Level II Registered Nurse - Telemetry

Schedule

This position requires a 3x12.0 rotating shift schedule, including every other weekend and holidays. No straight shift schedules are available.

Job Description

As a Level II Registered Nurse, you will provide competent care based on established standards. Under the direction of the Nurse Manager, you will be accountable for clinical practice, service excellence, professional development, research, and evidence-based practice. Your role may expand to include responsibilities such as charge nurse, preceptor, and participation in committees.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality care to patients in the telemetry unit.
• Assume charge nurse duties as required.
• Serve as a preceptor for new staff and nursing students.
• Participate in departmental committees and initiatives.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Telemetry experience is required.
• Current RN license in New York State is mandatory.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association is required.
• A minimum of two years of nursing experience is required.
