Travel ICU Registered Nurse

Shift: Nights, 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM (Floating required)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Travel ICU Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care for patients in our ICU unit. The position requires expertise in critical care, including the management of ventilators, titratable drips, and comprehensive patient hygiene care.

Responsibilities

• Provide total care for ICU patients.
• Manage ventilators and titratable drips.
• Assist with patient hygiene and comfort.
• Support the Med-Surg and ER departments when floating.
• Perform duties such as answering call lights, passing medications, and starting IVs while floating to ER.
• Take full assignments of up to 6 Med-Surg patients or assist as an aide for up to 12 patients when floated to Med-Surg.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Experience in ER and Med-Surg units required.
• TNCC certification preferred.
• Familiarity with ventilators, titratable drips, mixing medications, and patient hygiene preferred.
