Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath/EP Lab

Schedule

5 × 8 hour shifts, Monday to Friday; 8a - 6:30p. On-call assignment required 1-2 nights per week and every 4-5 weekends.

Job Description

The Cardiac Cath/EP Lab consists of a 6-room unit with 9 holding bays, where various cardiac procedures are performed. The unit is a level-1 trauma center and handles between 10-25 cases per day, ranging from diagnostic to complicated procedures.

Responsibilities

• Administer care in the holding area and during intraprocedural monitoring.
• Assist in cardiac procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide high-quality care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Floating between affiliated campuses may be necessary based on operational needs.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a clinical setting.
• Previous travel experience is required.
• Current RN license.
• ACLS and BLS certifications are required; RCIS recommended.
