Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath/EP Lab

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shifts consist of 4-10 hour shifts weekly with on-call assignments. Primary shift times are 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM.

Job Description

The Cardiac Cath/EP Lab is a 6-room unit that includes 9 holding bays and is part of a level-1 Trauma Center. The unit sees a variety of cases ranging from diagnostic procedures to complicated PCI and Structural Heart cases, averaging 10-25 cases per day.

Responsibilities

• Ensure patient safety and comfort in the holding area and during procedures.
• Administer medications and assist in patient care interventions.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide high-quality patient care.
• Participate in on-call rotations as required.
• Float between affiliated campuses as needed based on operational demands.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a cardiac or similar setting.
• Valid RN license with current ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• RCIS certification is recommended.
• Previous travel experience is required.
