Job Description

The Cath Lab Technologist will play a critical role in providing diagnostic and interventional cardiology services, focusing on coronary artery disease, peripheral vascular disease, and cardiac arrhythmias. The candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with a daily caseload of 8-12 cases, performing procedures such as coronary diagnostic and intervention, and permanent pacemaker insertions.

Responsibilities

• Conducting diagnostic cardiac catheterizations and interventional procedures.
• Performing peripheral diagnostic and intervention procedures.
• Administering and monitoring patient care in the cath lab.
• Maintaining sterile fields and ensuring proper operation of equipment.
• Documenting patient medical records using the Epic charting system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist.
• Current ARRT certification, Fluoroscopy permit, BLS, ACLS.
• RCIS certification is acceptable for candidates with 5+ years of experience.
• Applicants with pending Fluorosophy permits may be considered if the application has been submitted.
