Night shift: 3x12-hour shifts (18:15 - 06:45). Every other weekend required.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience to join our team on the night shift at an acute care community hospital. The CRT will be responsible for providing respiratory care for patients across all age groups, from infants to geriatrics, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Administer nebulizer treatments, high flow oxygen, non-invasive ventilation (NIV), and cough assist therapies.
• Assist with intubations and bronchoscopies, and manage ventilation for mechanically ventilated patients.
• Provide in-house transport for patients requiring mechanical ventilation.
• Utilize respiratory care protocols in the emergency room, adult medical/surgical, and critical care settings.
• Conduct pulmonary toileting, ABGs, and medication administration.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant respiratory therapy experience.
• Active certification as a CRT and NH state license (or pending license).
• BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS preferred.
• Epic charting experience is mandatory.
• Experience in acute care, adult critical care, and trauma settings is required.
