Registered Nurse (RN)

Schedule

AM Shift: 19:00 – 07:30, 3 × 12 hr shifts, totaling 36 hours per week.

This is a 13-week contract position.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for assessing, implementing, and evaluating care for assigned patients under the guidance of a licensed physician. The RN must be knowledgeable about contemporary nursing principles, theories, methods, and techniques. Leveraging the nursing process, the RN collaborates with patients, their families, professional peers, and other healthcare team members to tailor patient care. The RN also directs nursing support staff in providing patient care, ensuring adherence to nursing standards and departmental policies.

Responsibilities

• Assessing patient care needs and developing care plans.
• Implementing nursing procedures and protocols.
• Collaborating with healthcare professionals and patient families for optimal care.
• Supervising nursing support staff in delivering patient care.
• Ensuring compliance with nursing practice standards and policies.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor's Degree in nursing (preferred).
• At least 1 year of experience in the clinical specialty area (preferred).
• PA Registered Nurse License (required).
• Basic Life Support certification (required).
• Multi State Compact RN License (required).
