Registered Nurse (RN) - Night Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift: 19:00 – 07:30, 3×12 hour shifts per week.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) assesses, implements, and evaluates care needed by assigned patients under the direction of a licensed physician. The RN utilizes comprehensive nursing knowledge and applies current methods and techniques of nursing practice. Through the nursing process, the RN collaborates with patients, their families, professional peers, and other members of the healthcare team to individualize patient care. The RN directs nursing support staff in the provision of patient care according to established nursing standards, administrative policies, and departmental procedures. Professional education, training, or additional certifications may be required based on specialty area.

Responsibilities

• Assess, implement, and evaluate patient care needs.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to tailor care plans.
• Direct nursing support staff in delivering quality patient care.
• Maintain knowledge of current nursing practices and standards.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1 year of experience in a clinical specialty preferred.
• PA Registered Nurse License required.
• Basic Life Support certification required.
• Multi State Compact RN License required.
