Night Shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00), with every other weekend required.

Job Description

The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) will provide respiratory care to patients in an acute care hospital setting. Responsibilities include administering respiratory therapy procedures, performing diagnostic tests, and assisting with patient management and care.

Responsibilities

• Administer aerosol therapy, CPAP, and BiPAP treatments.
• Perform intubation assistance and extubation of patients.
• Manage tracheostomy care and provide emergency respiratory interventions.
• Interpret arterial blood gas results and adjust treatments as needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Document patient care in electronic health records using Epic.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of respiratory therapy experience is required.
• Must possess a valid South Carolina RRT license.
• Certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP are required.
• Experience with Epic charting is necessary.
