Registered Nurse - Acute Care of Elderly

Assignment Duration

This is a 16-week contract position.

Schedule

NIGHTS - 12HR: 7P-7A. 36 and 48 hours per week available. 1 weekend shift per week or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend. Must work at least 1 holiday per contract.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide compassionate and high-quality care to patients in the Acute Care of Elderly and Alternate Level of Care Unit. The role requires expertise in acute medical-surgical and telehealth nursing, ensuring a safe and positive environment for patients.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care and monitor vital signs.
• Administer medications and manage treatment plans.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide comprehensive care.
• Document patient progress and treatment in the EPIC system.
• Educate patients and their families on health management and wellness.

Required Experience

• 1 year recent experience in acute medical-surgical or telehealth nursing.
• 2 years of U.S. work experience required for non-U.S. candidates.

Required Licensure / Certifications

• Active NY RN license.
• AHA BLS certification.
