Schedule

Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30) and Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) shifts with rotation as needed.

Job Description

Join a dynamic and skilled nursing team in the Stepdown Float Pool unit, providing essential care to diverse patient populations. This role requires adaptability to float to various units as needed, ensuring high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to stepdown and progressive care patients.
• Monitor patient conditions and vital signs, responding promptly to changes.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in stepdown nursing.
• Must possess a permanent Ohio RN license or a compact state license.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS are required.
• ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments must be passed during orientation.
