Neuro ICU/IMCU Registered Nurse

This is a night shift position, operating on a 12x3 schedule, ensuring 36 guaranteed hours weekly.

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Neuro ICU/IMCU Registered Nurse with strong neuro experience. This role involves working in both the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and Immediate Care Unit (IMCU), with potential for floating between the two. The nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality care to neuro patients with a focus on safety and patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and oversee nursing care for neuro patients in both ICU and stepdown settings.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans based on individual needs.
• Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients, families, and staff.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient care.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and recovery processes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in neuro ICU or a related specialty.
• Current and valid RN license.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
• Skills checklist and work history/resume with no gaps greater than 60 days.
• References from previous employers.
• Nursys License Verification.
