Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shift: 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM. This position requires 1 call day per week and includes two weekends per schedule (AM Saturday and Sunday, PM Friday and Saturday).

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Labor and Delivery. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to mothers and newborns, ensuring safe delivery practices, and providing support during antepartum and postpartum phases.

Responsibilities

• Assist with labor and delivery, including circulating in the operating room for C-section deliveries.
• Provide comprehensive care throughout antepartum, labor, delivery, and postpartum stages.
• Monitor fetal and maternal health during labor using advanced monitoring systems.
• Administer medications and manage patient care in accordance with established protocols.
• Educate and support patients and families regarding the birthing process and postpartum care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license and required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP.
• Labor and Delivery experience, with background in postpartum care preferred.
