Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse

Schedule

This position requires a rotating shift of 3x12 hours, either Day (07:00 - 19:30) or Night (19:00 - 07:30). Shifts may vary to meet operational needs.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient-centered care while monitoring and managing telemetry patients in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and monitoring vital signs.
• Assess patient conditions and develop nursing care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Perform ECG rhythm recognition and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards while providing care.
• Document and maintain accurate patient records using the electronic health record system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 18 months recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience.
• Minimum of 18 months permanent experience in the specialty prior to travel assignments.
• Active Ohio RN license or compact state license required.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.
• Previous charge experience preferred.
