6:30 AM - 3:00 PM, Monday to Friday, with call requirements.

Job Description

Operating Room Nurses play a vital role in patient care throughout the surgical process. They are responsible for ensuring patients are adequately prepared for surgery, monitoring their recovery, and providing comprehensive information regarding potential outcomes of procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide preoperative and postoperative care to patients undergoing surgical procedures.
• Monitor patient vital signs and assess overall condition throughout the surgical process.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure a safe environment for patients.
• Educate patients and their families about procedural details and postoperative care.
• Assist with maintaining a sterile field and compliance with safety protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in the Operating Room setting (Required).
• Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) experience preferred.
• Active RN license in Oklahoma.
